Why am I not surprised by this unconvincing drivel from South Korea’s National Election Commission?
Artist Lee Ha, 44, has been accused of violating the Act on the Election of Public Officials for putting up posters around Busan depicting Park Geun-hye as Snow White. “Lee produced the posters to affect December’s presidential election, making a mockery of a particular candidate,” said a source from the National Election Commission in Busan on July 3. “We accused him because it would compromise the fairness of the election.”
South Korea is turning me into a free speech absolutist.
