Greek To Me

24 Apr often hears talk of excruciatingly abstruse mathematical equations used by, according to the spin, brainy nerds or manipulative hacks, to spin gold from mortgage paperwork. Ian Stewart brings up the one such equation, the Black-Scholes equation, in a podcast plugging a book on math I’m almost certain I will never buy. But, this one brief part of the Little Atoms program at least put a name and Wikipedia link to what was hidden. Unfortunately, knowing what to call the spell doesn’t help dispel it, or even to understand it
